MANDATE FOR TICKET PURCHASES AND DISBURSEMENTS
Museum admission and transport tickets
English-language version of a French mandat de débours
Principal (Client): [Client name or legal name], of [Client billing address], represented where applicable by [Client representative], registration number if applicable [Client registration number] (the Principal).
Agent: [Agent name or legal name], of [Agent address], represented where applicable by [Agent representative], professional registration number [Agent registration number] (the Agent).
File reference: [Booking or file reference]. The Principal appoints the Agent, who accepts this mandate, to purchase, pay for, receive and deliver the tickets specified below in the name and on behalf of the Principal. The Agent is authorised to advance the purchase price. This mandate must be signed before any purchase.
Visitors or passengers (who may differ from the Principal):
[Visitors or passengers]
Authorised ticket purchases:
[Authorised ticket purchases]
The total authorised spending limit is EUR [Total authorised spending limit], including any applicable VAT and authorised supplier charges. Agreed funds on account for ticket purchases: EUR [Agreed funds on account]. This entry records the agreed advance funding; it is not an acknowledgement of receipt or evidence of expenditure already incurred. The authority to make purchases expires on [Authority valid until].
The Agent must obtain the Principal's prior written agreement before appointing a substitute agent, exceeding the spending limit, or changing any date, time, quantity, visitor or passenger, fare or purchase condition.
If the supplier cannot identify the Principal as the customer represented by the Agent, or if the supplier's terms, fare eligibility requirements or rules for named ticket holders prevent the proposed purchase, the Agent must suspend the purchase. The parties must review the arrangements before any order is placed.
The contract, order, invoice or other supplier documentation must identify the Principal as the customer represented by the Agent. An invoice addressed to the Agent is acceptable for this purpose only if it expressly identifies the Principal for whom the Agent acts.
The Principal must reimburse the exact documented cost, without any mark-up, after deducting supplier refunds and funds actually received on account by the Agent. The Agent must record these sums in suspense accounts (comptes de passage) in its accounting records and provide the tickets, supporting documents and an itemised statement of expenditure and funds received. The Agent must return unused funds and pass on subsequent supplier refunds. Any credit notes must be disclosed with their conditions of use.
Settlement and return of funds:
[Settlement and return of funds]
Agent fees, separate from disbursements:
[Agent fees, separate from disbursements]
The supplier's terms and ticket holder eligibility requirements remain applicable. This mandate creates no right to transfer tickets and does not guarantee acceptance of the amounts as disbursements for tax purposes or any entitlement of the Principal to deduct VAT. Services or a travel package sold in the operator's own name may fall within the French VAT margin scheme for travel agents. This template applies only where the Agent acts in the name and on behalf of the Principal.
Signed at [Place of signature], on [Date of signature]. Both parties confirm that they sign before any purchase and that each retains a signed copy of this mandate.

Questions Fréquentes
Cette version relève-t-elle du droit anglais ?
Non.
